OVERVIEW
Selous Safari Tanzania is 4 day safari that departs from Dar es Salaam, which will take you to visit one of the world’s and Africa’s largest protected wildlife areas, this pristine, the famous Selous which is larger than Switzerland. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1982 due to the diversity of its wildlife and undisturbed nature in the largest unexploited game reserve. Some of the activities guests can enjoy the combination of Boat Safaris, Game drives, and Walking Safaris combined with undisturbed nature. Your Selous safari will start and end in Dar es Salaam. You will spend 3 nights exploring the area where you will see small and large mammals including a variety of bird species and reptiles
In 1976, the Selous Game Reserve contained about 109,000 elephants, then the largest in the world. By 2013, the numbers had dropped to about 13,000 – including a 66% drop from 2009 to 2013.

Pick clients from the place of staying in Dar and drive to Selous Game Reserve with packed lunch,the journey will take about 5hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania.Arrive Selous in the afternoon on time for the boat safari, where you’ll admire hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.Dinner and overnight will be at Hippo Camp
After breakfast, walking safaris, the most exciting experience, unique in Tanzania, accompanied by rangers armed.Lunch will be at the lodge. In the afternoon we have game viewing drive in the biggest and more fascinating of Africa. Dinner and overnight will be at Hippo Camp
After breakfast, full day game drive in the, Selous Safari, which is rich of wildlife: Buffaloes, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight will be at Hippo Camp
Morning after breakfast short culture tour at Mloka village and drive back to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive late afternoon and drop off at the hotel or airport.
